Would you like to create an impact but don’t know how? Do you have something important to say but struggle to convey your message? The 2020’s media landscape is filled with noise and clutter. Important messages, real facts and important causes easily get lost in the woods while fun (and even pointless) TikTok challenges take center stage. Everyone is competing over and limited by the same scarce resource: time.
When it comes to non-profits, academic teams, and companies fighting for a good cause, resources are often scarce. You don’t have the staff to say yes to every opportunity, and you don’t have the time to spend hours on X.
The good news is, you don’t have to.
I’m Aurora Airaskorpi, the founder of High on Hope. I’m a coach, consultant and creative with 10+ years of experience in thought leadership, sustainability topics, media, and strategic and creative content.
Some projects where I’ve helped smart people like you deliver impact
I coached a group of Fairtrade Finland experts to communicate their expertise, expand their networks and develop their personal brands across different channels. I helped them identify their core messages and express themselves in a way that felt natural to them instead of forcing any specific channel or style upon them.
I created and hosted a research communications bootcamp called Skolar for scientists from around the world. Me and my team coached a cohort of scientists to pitch their wildest ideas in just three minutes at the startup conference Slush in the hope of winning €100K to advance their idea. Most had no prior experience of any of this, and it was a joy to follow their incredible journeys and help them spread their wisdom.
I helped the team of a Finnish transition movement called Jalotus to establish a more strategic online presence and scale their reach to inspire more and more people to adopt ecologically sustainable lifestyles. I continue working with them to advance this mission and help more and more people see the value of sustainability.
To help social scientists and researchers in the humanities and arts create more societal impact, I wrote a whitepaper in collaboration with the Finnish Research Impact Foundation. In the report we analysed the status quo of academia-industry collaboration within these fields of science and sought solutions that could facilitate impactful collaborations between scientists and private enterprises.
I helped an environmental prize hosted by three foundations (Tiina and Antti Herlin Foundation, Nessling foundation and Svenska Litteratursällskapet) to establish better workflow for the project, crystallise the most important angles for the internal and external communications for the prize and create an understanding of the resources needed for the project in the future.

I have over 10 years of experience helping experts and creatives actualise their projects, expand their creative thinking, and explore new career paths. I’ve helped dozens of researchers understand the core of their expertise and bring it to different societal contexts. I’m comfortable working in the intermediary spaces between different sectors and industries.
Before embarking on my coaching career, I held managerial positions within creative agencies, specialising in science and sustainability communications. I’ve worked with businesses, academia, non-profits, creatives, and the public sector.

Thought leadership is a form of impact that can help you open many doors and influence the right people. I help experts, scientists and leaders establish and strengthen their thought leadership through a variety of different strategies from writing to speaking to establishing a network. I’ll also help you like thought leadership instead of resenting it. And I assure you, the strategies we build won’t take up your entire time but we’ll find the most effective ent ways to get the best results. We work together for 3–6 months, including face-to-face sessions, tasks in between sessions & chat and support along the way. I can also help you write the most important copy for your company and decide on the key messages. We’ll follow your successes and solve problems as they arise. Read more here.

Sometimes the best way for me to help you is to become part of your team. I can work as an internal coach for your experts to improve impact and thought leadership across teams and functions. Or I can join the board of directors, help you revamp your communications, stakeholders and impact strategy, build necessary processes and support other leaders in their work.
